How to Create a Quotation
Create, generate as a PDF, and send — all from the deal it belongs to.
A quotation in Tickr AI belongs to a deal. You build it on the deal, turn it into a PDF, and send it from the same place, so the record of what you quoted stays with the deal. The quotation is deliberately lean: it is rendered from the deal, not a full invoicing tool.

- Open the dealGo to the deal you want to quote and open its detail view.
- Create a quotationAdd line items, quantities and pricing for the quotation, linked to that deal.
- Generate the PDFGenerate a PDF of the quotation. It uses your company profile details automatically.
- Send itNear the top of the deal, use the "Send" split-button: click the small ▾ arrow next to "Send email" and choose "Send quote" to open the quote panel. Add the recipient and an optional message, then send. The panel also offers a Download option if you would rather attach the PDF somewhere else.
What the PDF contains
The quotation is a single-page A4 PDF. At the top it shows your company name and address from the company profile, then the word QUOTATION, the quote number and the date. Below that come the customer, the deal name, and the line items, each with its description, quantity, unit price and line total, followed by the total, any notes and a footer. The currency is your workspace's own currency; the quotation is never produced without one.
What the quote panel shows
The panel opens with a small summary of the quotation: its quote number, the amount and the deal name. The recipient's email address, labelled To, is required. The message is optional, and a short note is enough. If you need the file itself, Download opens the PDF in a new tab.
After you send
When the email goes out, the panel confirms "Quote sent" and notes that the send is logged to the deal's activity timeline, so anyone opening the deal can see that the quotation went to the customer. If you do not have permission to send, the panel tells you why instead of failing silently.
