How to Create a Team and Add Members
Group your people into teams, name a manager for each, and keep the membership up to date.
Once your colleagues are in your workspace, teams let you group them the way your business works, such as a sales team for one region. This guide walks through creating a team, adding people to it and removing it again.

- Add or remove a memberTo add a person, type in the box that reads Find a person by name or email, choose them from the Add member list and choose Add. To remove a person, choose Remove beside their name. Each member is shown with a name and a role.
- Delete a teamChoose Delete Team in the details pane. The page asks you to confirm and tells you the members will be unassigned.
A few things worth knowing
Deleting a team does not remove its people from your workspace. The confirmation says its members will be unassigned, so they stay in your workspace and no longer belong to that team. If you want to change who is in a team, add or remove members rather than deleting it.
What you can do on this page depends on your role. To bring someone into your workspace first, the guide on inviting a teammate shows how, and the guide on creating a custom role shows how to decide what each person can do.
